Native American Bracelets

Here at Alltribes™ we have been offering the finest in handmade American Indian bracelets and cuffs for men and women for over 40 years. We engage talented Navajo, Hopi and Zuni artisans to create and execute designs that can be found no where else.

Although Native Americans were taught to work in silver by Mexican silversmiths during the mid-nineteenth century, the Indian tribes were already creating and wearing bracelets and cuffs of organic based materials which included, Shell beads, bone and antler carvings as the main components. In addition to these, Abalone or Mother of Pearl and Spiny Oyster were also commonly found in ancient Southwest Native American Cuffs. Copper was probably the first metal used in American Indian Bracelets and is still used today along with Sterling Silver and Gold, though in a much lesser capacity. Today, Native American artisans incorporate many different types of semi precious gemstones and metals into their Native American Bracelets and Cuffs. Turquoise and Coral are the most common stones used in Native American bracelets, today and depending on the tribe, the styles and methods will vary.

Navajo Silversmiths are mainly noted for their large raised free form turquoise bracelets while the Zuni are well known for their precisely hand inlaid cuffs. Our Vintage and Old Pawn Native American bracelets and cuffs are evidence of the continuing cultivation and expression of that talent.
