This Vintage Old Pawn Turquoise Silver Concho Belt is absolutely gorgeous! The original design of the belt was developed by Ray Floyd of the Apache Trading Post. In the 1970's, he turned his vision over to a talented Navajo artist named Victor Begay. Begay hand cut, embossed, hand stamped, and inlaid genuine number one grade Sleeping Beauty Turquoise to create this stunning traditional Native American inspired concho belt. The Sterling Silver conchos are fastened to a leather belt that is 1" inch wide and 39" inches in length. There are 9 oval scalloped conchos with a center Sleeping Beauty turquoise cab and 10 circular cabs bezel set on each. The oval silver conchos measure 1-5/8" inches by 2" inches. In addition to these conchos, there are 10 butterflies. Each butterfly concho has four Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabs at either end and one oval stone in the middle. The butterflies measure 2" inches by 1" inch. The antique silver square buckle has a total of 27 bezel set turquoise stones and measures 2-1/4" inches by 2-1/2" inches with a 1" inch keeper.
