Alltribes Turquoise Bracelets Collection

Having been in the industry for nearly 40 years, Alltribes Indian Art has had the opportunity to collect and keep some of the finest Turquoise Bracelets on the market. Not imported, all are handmade by Navajo artisans right here in our shop, we can build you just about any style Turquoise Bracelet you can design. We have some of the best Native American silversmiths in the business here.

With the coming of the copper mines in the late 19th century, it brought turquoise into mainstream Native American jewelry. Traditionally Native American silversmiths were pounding out bracelets from old silver coins and there was not much turquoise used. As the American west grew so did the demand for turquoise. By the mid 1900’s, turquoise was being used in most Native American jewelry. Most of the turquoise used in bracelets is from Nevada and Arizona. As the demand grew, and copper and turquoise mines opened and closed, the availability became a controlled market. Most of the best turquoise mines were depleted by the early 1980’s. That’s essentially why turquoise such as Royston, Morenci and Landers Blue are so expensive.
