This big bowl basket is an authentic piece of American Indian art. It was made on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona. Strips of fibers, wood, leaves or grass are wrapped into a bundle which is coiled around in a continuous spiral to finish this beautiful, handmade treasure. This large wedding bowl basket measures 14" in diameter and 4" deep. Add this basket to your collection for an impressive wall or shelf display...or start a collection with this Southwestern Native American made basket!

Part of the Lake Powell Collection. This basket was acquired from a couple living in Page Arizona during the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam from 1955 to 1964. They developed a great relationship with local Navajo and Hopi weavers and have decided to share these collectible authentic baskets with other interested collectors.
