Zuni Turquoise Jet Inlaid Sterling Silver God's Eye Jewelry Pendant Pin  3585-246672-PN

Zuni Turquoise Jet Inlaid Sterling Silver God's Eye Jewelry Pendant Pin.

This Zuni Turquoise Jet Inlaid Sterling Silver God's Eye Jewelry Pendant Pin is an impressive piece of hand-made jewelry. This pendant pin features an incredible traditional inlaid design made from natural hand-cut stones of Turquoise, Jet and other stones. This colorful mix of Turquoise and other gemstones creates a fashionably exotic look. These gemstones have been intricately inlaid into a hand-made casing of Sterling Silver to create the traditional Indian image of a God's Eye. Suspended from a complimentary chain through a loop, this Turquoise Pendant Pin is 5/8" by 3/4" wide. Stamped Sterling and signed by the top artist CR. You will be receiving one of these pendants from the group pictured below.

This jewelry comes from one of the leading trading posts in the heart of the Indian Nation. Established over 35 years ago, the owners recently retired and liquidated $200,000 wholesale ($450,000 retail) of their inventory to Alltribes. They worked with some of the best Navajo and Zuni jewelers and kept to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This jewelry features unique designs and quality stones. It was made before the price of silver went up and will have lower prices.

Turquoise has been, since about 200 B.C., extensively used by southwestern U.S Native Americans and by many of the Indian tribes in Mexico. The Native American Jewelry or "Indian style" jewelry with turquoise mounted in or with silver is relatively new. Some believe this style of Jewelry was unknown prior to about 1880, when a white trader persuaded a Navajo craftsman to make turquoise and silver jewelry using coin silver. Prior to this time, the Native Americans had made solid turquoise beads, carvings, and inlaid mosaics. Recently, turquoise has found wide acceptance among people of all walks of life and from many different ethnic groups.

We understand the true value and nature of hand-crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it’s important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item. CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC
