Zuni Indian Genuine Turquoise Jewelry Silver Needlepoint Bracelet  2800-3503-BR-ST

Zuni Indian Genuine Turquoise Jewelry Silver Needlepoint Bracelet.

This Zuni Indian Turquoise Jewelry Silver Needlepoint Bracelet is an impressive example of Native American jewelry. This bracelet features an amazing and intricate needlepoint design made from genuine stones of number one grade Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. Zuni Indian jewelry artists often use Turquoise in their work to honor the Father Sky. Each stone of this Turquoise was hand cut by the artist with perfect precision. The Turquoise needlepoint design appears on a brilliant hand made cuff of Sterling Silver. Turquoise and Silver, it's a great combination. This Zuni Turquoise Bracelet is 5/8" wide and it'll fit a 5-1/2" to a 6-1/2" wrist. Signed in script by the Zuni Indian artist EW. Turquoise stones may vary slightly, you will receive one from the group of Zuni bracelets pictured below.

The Zuni Indians learned to silversmith from the Navajo in the early 1870's. The Zuni, because they had permanent homes unlike the nomadic Navajo, were able to use many tools that the Navajo could not easily carry with them. With the lapidary wheels they began cutting stones and using the silver to hold their stones in patterns. Today, Zuni silversmiths are known for their lapidary skills. Both channel inlay (using precisely cut stones set on silver to form figures and designs) and cluster or needlepoint (setting small, similarly cut stones in geometric patterns) are traditional Zuni styles.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it's important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
