THIS WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT MOVIE PROP!!!!!

A true piece of American History, this Wells Fargo & Co. lock and keys set is an incredibly well made replication. It's a big one too, made exactly the way they made them in the old west. This lock was made from iron and it's meant to last a lifetime! The engraved plate on the front says, "Property of Wells, Fargo, & Co. Express San Francisco Division". It comes with a pair of matching skeleton keys, and the lock really works. The lock is 6-1/4" by 10-1/2". The keys are both 4-3/4" long. Be careful handling this set, it's a bit rusty.

This is a well made collectible of the old west. Henry Wells and William Fargo founded the Wells, Fargo, & Co. out in San Francisco in the midst of the California gold rush. They provided banking services and financial security for people out in the Wild West during the times of run away outlaws and train robbers. In the 1860's Wells Fargo gained fame for its company logo of a stagecoach. And, in 1861, the company ran the western track of the Pony Express. Wells Fargo survived the Wild West and its founding fathers, and is still in operations today.
