Wells Fargo Express Indian SCOUT TELESCOPE 2597-CL
Take home a piece of American History. This is an incredible replica of the old west. This scout telescope is just like the kind used by the Wells Fargo pony riders during the 19th Century. This one features an engraved plate that reads, "Property of Wells, Fargo, & Co. Express San Francisco Division". This telescope is fully functional. It is 7" long retracted and 19-1/4" long fully extended. And, it comes with a lens cover. Don't miss out on this one. This telescope is a great replica of years gone by.
This is a well made collectible of the old west. Henry Wells and William Fargo founded the Wells, Fargo, & Co. out in San Francisco in the midst of the California gold rush. They provided banking services and financial security for people out in the Wild West during the times of run away outlaws and train robbers. In the 1860's Wells Fargo gained fame for its company logo of a stagecoach. And, in 1861, the company ran the western track of the Pony Express. Wells Fargo survived the Wild West and its founding fathers, and is still in operations today. |
