Vintage, Buckskin Beaded Indian MEDICINE BAG 3359-NC
Take home an old piece of native tradition. This one looks to be pretty old, how old it is we can't tell. This incredible medicine bag was masterfully hand crafted out of genuine soft buckskin leather for a work of art with natural textures. The front of this medicine bag is covered with intricately hand stitched seed beads. The seed bead work is truly impressive featuring colorful traditional designs. This medicine bag has genuine buckskin leather fringe and a braided buckskin handle. Old rustic tin chimes hang from the bottom of this one. This medicine bag is 13" long from the top of the handle to the bottom of the chimes. It is 3-1/2" wide.The objects man makes are called artifacts, and every artifact, whether it is beautiful or ugly, crude or refined, utilitarian or ceremonial, is a reflection and product of man's skills, his techniques, his arts.
