These designs are part of a new line of contemporary jewelry that Richard has been working on for three years, and we are releasing it now. This jewelry set is new, new, new! So, here it is, the 2006 Alltribes Contemporary Turquoise Jewelry Line featuring original hand-crafted Turquoise jewelry of a high quality. Every piece of this Turquoise jewelry is an original work of art original, unique, and valuable. This necklace features gorgeous hand cut cabochons of genuine Turquoise. The Turquoise stones have been artfully surrounded by hand cut inlaid stones of genuine Spiny Oyster. The warm colors of the Spiny Oyster beautifully contrast with the cool colors of the Turquoise. These gemstones have been set in the brilliance of Sterling Silver. Contemporary made. This completely adjustable squash blossom necklace has a total length of 20-1/4". The matching post earrings are 2" long. The matching tennis bracelet is 7-1/4" long. Stamped Sterling. Turquoise stones may slightly vary. The photo is an excellent example of the one of a kind hand made Turquoise jewelry set you'll receive.

Turquoise has been, since about 200 B.C., extensively used by southwestern U.S Native Americans and by many of the Indian tribes in Mexico. The Native American Jewelry or "Indian style" jewelry with turquoise mounted in or with silver is relatively new. Some believe this style of Jewelry was unknown prior to about 1880, when a white trader persuaded a Navajo craftsman to make turquoise and silver jewelry using coin silver. Prior to this time, the Native Americans had made solid turquoise beads, carvings, and inlaid mosaics. Recently, turquoise has found wide acceptance among people of all walks of life and from many different ethnic groups.
