Turquoise Navajo Bear Fetish Silver Necklace 2121-FNK
Navajo Indian Turquoise Bear Fetish Sterling Silver Necklace
This necklace is a true work of art. This one features a gorgeous gathering of Navajo bear fetishes. These fetishes have been hand carved out of block Turquoise. Heishi beads of genuine Penn Shell and block Turquoise provide the spacing between the fetishes with natural earth tone colors. Each end of this one is dressed with a plated Silver cone. Strung in our shop by Navajo Indian jewelry artist Berlinda Begay, this Native American fetish necklace is 28-1/2" long.
Native Americans have always felt a special connection to nature. The belief that all things have a spirit is an integral part of their religions. The Zuni believe that animals are more like the Zuni deities than is man. They also believe that animals have more power than man and that these powers, both practical and spiritual, reside in their totems.
