Sterling Silver Overlaid Wedding BASKET Design Bolo Tie

This impressive bolo is slightly concave and has a beautiful symmetrical Navajo wedding basket design. The total length of the 12-ply leather bolo cord is 46". The neck strap is flat for extra comfort. The circular Sterling Silver Wedding Band Design Bolo is 2-1/4" wide. It's stamped Sterling and signed.

Overlay is created by "sweating" or soldering, two pieces of silver together. The top piece contains a design element which is meticulously cut out of silver. The bottom piece is oxidized and often textured to produce a contrasting background. Then carefully filed, buffed and polished to produce this fine finish.
