Sterling Silver Money Clip Indian Storyteller Silver Gold Money Clip Navajo Made by Tommy Singer  0030-253824-MC

Sterling Silver Money Clip Indian Storyteller Silver Gold Money Clip Navajo Made by Tommy Singer.

Hand made by Tommy Singer, famous Navajo silversmith. This Storyteller Money Clip will have you holding your cash in style. It features an overlaid Storyteller image that was hand cut out of shining Sterling Silver and jeweler's gold, a.k.a. Brass. The storyteller image artfully depicts life on the Navajo Indian reservation. This money clip is 1" wide and 1-3/4" long. Signed by master Navajo silversmith T. Singer. Storyteller images may vary slightly as each is hand made. You'll get one from the group pictured below.

A Navajo man once said of his people's oral histories. "If my children hear the stories, they will grow up to be good people." Native Americans think of the earth and the universe as a never-ending circle, and in this circle, man is just another animal. Native American legends reflect the view that human beings are no more important than any other thing, whether alive or inanimate. In the eye of the creator, they believe, man and woman, plant and animal, water and stone, are all equal, and they share the earth as partners - even as family.

Thomas Singer is known throughout the world for his jewelry work. His overlay pieces incorporate the most traditional of Navajo design - designs that have endured for many years. Many of these designs are inspired by Navajo rugs and other traditional designs. Jeweler Thomas Singer is a Navajo Indian from Winslow, Arizona. Tommy Singer states, "Every piece is made with the meanings from my traditional ways - the Navajo way of living. My father was a silversmith. He taught me and wanted me to continue this trade. It was my father's dream that I learn to silversmith so that I can continue his belief."

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it’s important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
