This traditional bear design features a sun like opening on each side and is 7-1/2" tall by 12" wide by 3" deep. It is not painted and can be used for a large variety of projects.
These pots will take any kind of paint well including acrylics (non-fired) and fired paints. After painting with non-fired paints, consider spraying with a protective sealant or lacquer coating as the unfired bisque is absorbent and will collect dirt and oils.
The Bear is a potent source of strength for many Native Americans. Admired for their strength, independence, and self reliance, Bear's spirits were often invoked before entering battle.
