Nevada Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Old Pawn Native American Cuff Bracelet   0025-253788-BR

Nevada Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Old Pawn Native American Cuff Bracelet.

This Turquoise Bracelet is a highly collectible piece of Native American jewelry. The center of this bracelet prominently features a hand cut cab of genuine Turquoise. This bracelet has the old pawn look with the brushed finish. Hand stamped Sterling Silver studs and hand stamped traditional designs bookend the Turquoise. This Nevada Green Turquoise with its earth matrix looks great set up against the Sterling Silver. Turquoise and Silver is a look that you can never go wrong with. This Turquoise Bracelet is 3/4" wide. It'll fit a 6" to a 7" wrist. Stamped Sterling and signed by the Navajo Indian Jewelry artist LEB. You'll get one of the two pictured below.

Throughout the Indian lands the trading posts serve as pawn shops. When Native Americans need money, they can sell the artwork and jewelry they have made or collected. This is one of the ways older vintage jewelry and artwork comes onto the market. In some cases the items were traded for a small loan and kept on hold with intent to redeem the items later when the loan is repaid. If the loan goes unpaid for the contractual length of time, the items are considered "dead pawn", also known as "old pawn", and can be sold by the trader as payment for the loan. Sometimes vintage or antique Native American items that have been acquired from long time owners or from personal collections are given the name Old Pawn, especially if they are tarnished or worn, although they did not come from a pawn shop or reservation trading post. Overall the term indicates that the item is authentic and pre-owned.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize that it is important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
