Some believe that rugs without the spirit hole can cause people to get rug sickness. This is a flat woven traditional Native American rug. A cloth Navajo woman rug weaver doll dressed in crimson sits before the rug, and by her sides are a sleeping baby on a cradle and a bundle of yarn. The base is covered in cloth.
