This Navajo Indian Wild Horse Magnesite Silver Bolo Tie and Belt Buckle Set is an impressive example of hand made Native American jewelry art. This buckle and bolo tie tie set was made in our shop by master Navajo Indian jewelry artist Jimmy Emerson. Jimmy has worked with us for over twenty years creating his signature high quality Native American jewelry art. The buckle and bolo tie have each been made out of shining Sterling Silver, and they each hold a large nugget of genuine Wild Horse Magnesite. This Magnesite is just full of natural character with its natural chocolate brown hues and white turquoise matrix. The bolo tie and buckle each have hand stamped southwestern designs and a hand twisted Sterling Silver wire for extra detail. The bolo tie is 2-1/4" by 3-1/4" with a 42" long 6-ply leather bolo cord. The buckle is 2-3/4" by 3-1/4" with a 1-1/2" wide keeper on the back. Stamped Sterling. Signed by the Navajo Indian jewelry artist with our hallmark. Marbling of the Magnesite may slightly vary. The Dine' People are a unique group of people still living the traditional life with many oral stories passed down to the younger generation through the Dine' language. The Navajo people have returned to their original name given to them by their holy people. The Dine' land (aka Navajo reservation) on top of Oak Creek Canyon is the largest reservation established for the Dine', covering about 25,000 sq. miles of land, which is located in the Southwest in parts of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. The Dine' People believe they live within the Four Sacred Mountains.
