Navajo Indian Sterling Silver Overlaid Cuff Bracelet by Jackson 2225-BR
Navajo Indian Sterling Silver Overlaid Cuff Bracelet by Jackson.
This is no light baby doll, this is a big boy bracelet!!! It's over four ounces! This one is meant to be worn with pride. This is a very, very heavy gauge bracelet. This incredible work of art was hand made from start to finish. And, it is perfect down to the matting. This bracelet features overlaid southwestern designs with the traditional friendship foot print symbols. This image was hand cut with perfect precision out of shimmering Sterling Silver and overlaid onto the Sterling Silver cuff. This was made from a sheet of 18 gauge Sterling Silver on top of another 18 gauge sheet of Sterling Silver. Silver on Silver, you can't go wrong with that. Designed in our shop by the late Navajo artist Robert Dinay. Made by Master silversmith JR Jackson. This impressive bracelet is 1-7/8" wide, and we'll make it fit anywhere from a 6" to an 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed with our hallmark.
The Dine' People are a unique group of people still living the traditional life with many oral stories passed down to the younger generation through the Dine' language. The Navajo people have returned to their original name given to them by their holy people. The Dine' land (aka Navajo reservation) on top of Oak Creek Canyon is the largest reservation established for the Dine', covering about 25,000 sq. miles of land, which is located in the Southwest in parts of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. The Dine' People believe they live within the Four Sacred Mountains.
