Navajo Indian Rawhide Beaded Ceremonial Warrior Lance.
This impressive lance measures 73" from the metal point to the end of the handle. Made in the 4 Corners region. The shaft is wrapped in hand stitched raw hide and accented with colorful embedded seed bead bands. This lance is dressed with wooden beads, genuine feathers, horse hair, and bone beads. The metal spear tip is securely attached by a thick wrap of leather. Genuine fur adds natural textures to this one. It is a ceremonial artifact and it would make a fabulous gift. It is attractive in any setting and has the artistic character to stand alone or compliment similar pieces of collected works.
