Navajo Genuine Number 8 Turquoise Sterling Silver Ring Size 8-1/2 to 10 By Dawes   99-254072-RG

Genuine Number 8 Turquoise Sterling Silver Ring

The center of this gorgeous piece of jewelry is dressed with a large oblong nugget of genuine Number 8 Turquoise. This beautiful brown and sea green Turquoise is showcased in a brilliant gleaming setting of Sterling Silver. This ring features a hand-twisted Sterling Silver wire and scored fine lines around the Turquoise for the perfect amount of detail. This ring is 1-1/2" long and is size 8-1/2 to 10. This ring was made in our shop by one of our local artists Leo Dawes Stamped Sterling and Signed. This Number 8 Turquoise ring is absolutely one-of-a-kind, so don't miss out. The photos are of the hand-made ring you'll receive. Get it while you can!

Turquoise has been used for personal adornment in many countries all over the world. Among those who have worn it are the Persians, Tibetans, Greeks, Romans, Aztecs, Incas and of course the Native Americans of our own Southwest, who have been mining and wearing it since the time of Christ. Turquoise has decorated the thrones of Kings, been inlaid in the crowns of royalty and appeared in the crown jewels of many countries. During the 15th century the Queen of France gave a gold ring set with Turquoise to King James IV of Scotland as a pledge of friendship. When Queen Elizabeth of England was married, her gift from the President of Mexico was an exact replica of a prehistoric Nahuate (Aztec) brooch of gold inlaid with Turquoise.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize that it is important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
