Made by the world famous Tahe family, this therapeutic bracelet features a hand twisted Copper wire and a double band of shimmering nickel silver. This sensational bracelet will match up beautifully with any other Silver and Copper jewelry that's already in your collection. Regular use of any metal polish will enhance the natural luster of this bracelet. This bracelet is not meant to diagnose or heal any medical condition. The Navajo were the first to produce jewelry that required the working of metal. Their love of metal working can be traced to the Spanish arrival in the Southwest. The silver bridles and horse trappings of the Conquistadors were admired and often stolen by the raiding Navajos. Later when the area became part of Mexico, Mexican silversmiths traded jewelry to wealthy Navajo for sheep. Jewelry became a symbol of wealth.
