Native American Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Sterling Silver Bracelet SIGNED  0453-BR

Native American Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Sterling Silver Bracelet

This Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Bracelet is an impressive work of Navajo art. A large nugget of genuine number one grade natural Sleeping Beauty Turquoise adorns the center of this bracelet with gorgeous natural sky blue colors. The cuff was hand cut out of a heavy gauge of shimmering Sterling Silver and hand stamped with traditional Navajo designs. Hand twisted Sterling wire frames the Turquoise with brilliant detail. Sterling Silver is truly the perfect showcase for this sensational and elegant nugget of Turquoise. Made in our shop, This bracelet is about 1-1/2" wide at the center. It'll fit a 6-1/2" to a 7-1/2" wrist. Stamped Sterling and signed by the artist with our hallmark. Turquoise stones will vary slightly. You will receive one of the Turquoise Bracelets from the group pictured below.

Turquoise is a highly sought-after mineral and is possibly the most valuable, non-transparent mineral in the jewelry trade. It has been mined for eons since at least 6000 BC by early Egyptians. Aztecs reserved turquoise for the gods and it was not to be worn by mere mortals. Its history also includes beautiful ornamental creations by Native Americans and Persians. Today, it is more popular than ever and its use around the world is prolific. The finest turquoise comes from Iran but is challenged by some southwestern United States specimens. The name comes from a French word, which means stone of Turkey, from where Persian material passed on its way to Europe. To actually see a bright blue nugget of Turquoise on the otherwise gray and dusty desert floor is to know the incredible nature of this stone and will lead anyone to realize what the Native Americans have known to be true for millennia - that Turquoise is special, sacred, and has power.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize that it is important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
