Brass .22 bullet casings act as jackets for the genuine feathers and add a touch of old western flair. Powerful symbols dress this ceremonial artifact and it would make a fabulous gift. The photos are an excellent representation of the one-of-a-kind lance you will receive. Due to the hand made nature of this item there may be some slight variations from piece to piece.
The lance or spear is an important element in Native American culture and was used chiefly as a hunting tool. It grew to play a role in ornamental dress and as a weapon in battle. The lance is another example of the full use Indians made of their environment.
