Native American Navajo Genuine Moss Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet L. James 1651-BR
Native American Genuine Moss Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Jewelry
This bracelet is a gorgeous piece of southwestern Native American jewelry made in our store on the reservation. This one features plenty of natural beauty with a gorgeous row of genuine moss green Turquoise nuggets. This Turquoise has been shaped into 9 smooth ovals that increase in size and are set against the brilliance of Sterling Silver from the Silver Mine. Sterling Silver designs form a pattern around the Turquoise and at each end, which only complement this already beautiful bracelet. This Native American bracelet is 1-1/2" wide at the center and 3/4" at the ends. Turquoise nuggets may vary slightly. It'll fit a 6" to a 7" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed by the artist L. James.
Turquoise has been used for personal adornment in many countries all over the world. Among those who have worn it are the Persians, Tibetans, Greeks, Romans, Aztecs, Incas and of course the Native Americans of our own Southwest, who have been mining and wearing it since the time of Christ. Turquoise has decorated the thrones of Kings, been inlaid in the crowns of royalty and appeared in the crown jewels of many countries. During the 15th century the Queen of France gave a gold ring set with Turquoise to King James IV of Scotland as a pledge of friendship. When Queen Elizabeth of England was married, her gift from the President of Mexico was an exact replica of a prehistoric Nahuate (Aztec) brooch of gold inlaid with Turquoise.
