Native American Inlaid Jet Opal Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Jewelry  0039-243921-BR

Native American Inlaid Jet Opal Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet.

This bracelet is a true work of art. This one features a traditional inlaid design made from hand cut stones of genuine Jet and lab Opal. These gorgeous Jet and Opal stones have been set in a beautiful heavy gauge Sterling Silver cuff. The fire 'n' ice sparkle of the Opal perfectly compliments the white shine of the Sterling Silver. This bracelet is 1/2" wide. It'll fit a 6" to a 7" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed by the Navajo Indian artist BL.
This jewelry comes from one of the leading trading posts in the heart of the Indian Nation. Established over 35 years ago, the owners recently retired and liquidated $200,000 wholesale ($450,000 retail) of their inventory to Alltribes. They worked with some of the best Navajo and Zuni jewelers and kept to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This jewelry features unique designs and quality stones. It was made before the price of silver went up and will have lower prices.
Opal's name evolved from the Roman word opalus from the Greek word opallios - "to see a change of color." The Greek word was a modification of the ancient Indian Sanskrit name for opal, upala, which meant "precious stone." If one spoke in mixed tongues, then opal would be opallios upala, "to see a change of color precious stone." As indicated by the derivation of its name, opal has centuries of history as a treasured gemstone. Historically, beliefs associated with the wearing of opal have varied. The early Greeks thought that opals gave their owners the powers of foresight and prophecy. Romans adored it as a token of hope and purity. Eastern people regarded it as sacred. Arabs believed it fell from heaven.

We understand the true value and nature of hand-crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it’s important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item. CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC
