These Native American Earrings are sensational pieces of hand-made Native American Indian Turquoise jewelry created by Navajo Indian artist Regana Begay. Each earring features a traditional flower cluster design made from small hand-cut stones of genuine Kingman Turquoise around a small circular stone. Each Turquoise stone has been set in shimmering Sterling Silver. The artist has added decoration in the form of a hand-twisted Sterling Silver wire around the center stone and hand-made dots interspersed with the outside ring of Turquoise stones. These round Turquoise French Hook Earrings are 1-1/2" long and 5/8" wide. They are stamped Sterling and signed by the Native artist. You will be receiving one pair of earrings from the group pictured below.
Regana Begay is a local silversmith who has been practicing her trade for twenty years. She was taught by her husband, who learned from his parent. She specializes in making any Navajo cluster designs, such as a triangular pattern, using smaller stones than average. She takes custom orders for any type of jewelry or jewelry accessory. While she works primarily with turquoise, custom orders can include other stones such as coral and white shell. She sets these cluster designs in sterling silver. People so enjoy her work that she has many repeat customers.
