Native American Indian Jewelry TURQUOISE SILVER BELT BUCKLE  3212-BB

This Native American Indian Jewelry Turquoise Silver Belt Buckle is a great piece of hand made Navajo Indian jewelry. This buckle was hand cut from a shining sheet of Sterling Silver. The Native American jewelry artist artfully hand stamped this Sterling Silver buckle with fine line southwestern designs. The center of the buckle is dressed with a nugget of genuine Sleeping Beauty Turquoise (the Tiffany of Turquoise). This Turquoise offers its natural Robins Egg blue color to the Sterling Silver. Turquoise and Silver, it's the perfect combination. This Turquoise Belt Buckle is 2" by 3" with a 1-1/2" wide keeper on the back. Stamped Sterling. This buckle is hand made from start to finish so the hand stamped details and Turquoise nuggets may slightly vary making it a one of a kind. This photo is a great representation of what you will receive.

The Navajo believe turquoise is a piece of the sky that has fallen to earth, and it is used as an offering to appease the wind. The Apache think it combines the spirits of the sea and sky to help warriors and hunters aim accurately. For the Apache, turquoise is associated with the bringing of rain and could always be found at the end of a rainbow. The Zuni believe that turquoise protects them from demons, while the Aztecs reserved turquoise for the gods and it was not to be worn by mere mortals. It is alleged that the wearer of this stone is able to develop friendships. It would help a person feel intuitively the difference between good and evil. Turquoise would protect against accidents and various dangers. The blue in turquoise symbolized the Heavens and green symbolized the Earth. The stones were used by medicine men to work charms.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it's important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item. CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC
