This bracelet was hand made from start to finish by master Navajo Indian silversmith Jimmy Emerson. Jimmy created the elegant bump outs and stamped designs all by hand, and his excellent craftsmanship is readily apparent. This bracelet is just full of detail, what a work of art! The center of this large Sterling Silver cuff holds a nugget of Genuine Turquoise. This Turquoise is gorgeous and just full of natural character! The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.
