Native American Genuine Turquoise Spiny Oyster Sterling Silver Bracelet 0038-218510-BR
Native American Genuine Turquoise Spiny Oyster Sterling Silver Bracelet.
What a bracelet! This fine piece of Native American Indian made jewelry is a true treasure, a real one of a kind. The Navajo Indian artist dressed the center with a large square cab of genuine Spiny Oyster. This beautiful Spiny Oyster has been surrounded with hand cut cabs of genuine Turquoise, Coral, and Malachite. What a colorful bracelet. The cuff was hand made from five individual bands of shimmering Sterling Silver. Each gemstone has been set in an individually hand made Sterling Silver bezel that was soldered to a hand cut Sterling Silver sheet creating a traditional cluster design. This bracelet is 2-1/4" wide and it'll fit a 6-1/2" to a 7-1/2" wrist. Made in our shop. Stamped Sterling and signed by the Navajo artist. We can make a custom sized one for you as well. If you need a larger or smaller size put the alternate size in the 'comment box' as you check out and call 1-800-417-0024 for pricing on larger sizes.
The Spiny Oyster gemstone is actually the colorful shell that comes from the species Spondylus varius also known as the Spiny Oyster or Thorny Oyster. The Thorny Oyster is a bivalve mollusk that dwells primarily in tropical ocean waters. They can be found along the coasts of North Carolina all the way down to the waters near Brazil. It is a stunning animal to look at, and it is often a subject for underwater photography. The dazzling shells of the Thorny Oyster are rare finds and they're treasured for their beautiful red, brown, yellow, purple, and white colors.
