This Tennis Bracelet is hand made by Navajo artist Veronica Begay. A timeless design with elements of traditional and contemporary style. This hand-strung bracelet has two strands of 4mm hand drilled genuine Turquoise nuggets highlighting a polished, flat rectangular Turquoise Magnesite bead. The tennis bracelet is made to match a necklace design, click here to see the matching set 0042-SET. The vibrant Turquoise delivers a gorgeous display of natural colors, making each nugget unique. Just like snowflakes, no two Turquoise nuggets are exactly alike. The rectangular beads are made from genuine Magnesite, a cousin of Turquoise. These large beads are approximately 30mm by 40mm and dyed to match Turquoise. The Turquoise nuggets are strung back-to-back and highlighted with a Silver toggle clasp. Designed and strung in our shop by Veronica Begay. The group picture of matching necklaces demonstrates the range of variety from the stones.
This bracelet was made by Navajo artist Veronica Begay. Veronica is the niece to famed Navajo Indian silversmith Victor Begay. Veronica, also known as Ronni, was born and raised on the reservation in a small town called Many Farms, AZ. Veronica has been making silver and beaded jewelry since she was 15 years old. Her parents, Wilson and Linda Begay, specialized in Navajo cluster designs taught her the art. She comes from a family of silversmiths. Her parents are well known on the reservation and her uncle, Victor Begay, is a famous and well known silversmith.
