This pendant is an impressive piece of hand made Native American jewelry. This pendant prominently features a large hand cut cabochon of genuine Azurite Malachite. This Malachite has been surrounded with beautiful hand cut round cabochons of genuine Red Coral. The Malachite and coral stones have been set against the brilliance of Sterling Silver. This pendant has a hand cut scalloped edge with hand stamped details. Made by Navajo artist Jim Emerson. Suspended from a complimentary chain, these pendants are 2 3/4" in length. Stamped Sterling. In Israel, malachite is extensively mined at Timna, often called King Solomon's Mines. Archaeological evidence indicates that the mineral has been mined and smelted at the site for over 3,000 years.
