Native American Genuine Moss Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet by Charles Johnson  1903-BR

Native American Genuine Moss Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet ( Charles Johnson MASTER SILVERSMITH !!!!!!!! )

This bracelet is a gorgeous piece of southwestern Native American jewelry. This one features plenty of natural beauty with a gorgeous row of genuine moss green Turquoise nuggets. This Turquoise has been shaped into 11 smooth ovals and set against the brilliance of Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver wire and beads form a straight pattern around the Turquoise before forming a sunburst pattern at each end, which only complements this already beautiful bracelet. This Native American bracelet is 3/4" wide. Turquoise nuggets may slightly vary. It'll fit a 6" to a 7" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed by the Navajo artist Charles Johnson.

Turquoise has been used for personal adornment in many countries all over the world. Among those who have worn it are the Persians, Tibetans, Greeks, Romans, Aztecs, Incas and of course the Native Americans of our own Southwest, who have been mining and wearing it since the time of Christ. Turquoise has decorated the thrones of Kings, been inlaid in the crowns of royalty and appeared in the crown jewels of many countries. During the 15th century the Queen of France gave a gold ring set with Turquoise to King James IV of Scotland as a pledge of friendship. When Queen Elizabeth of England was married, her gift from the President of Mexico was an exact replica of a prehistoric Nahuate (Aztec) brooch of gold inlaid with Turquoise.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it's important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
