Native American Genuine Kingman Turquoise Sterling Silver Bolo Tie  1819-BOLO

Native American Genuine Kingman Turquoise Sterling Silver Bolo Tie

This Native American Genuine Kingman Turquoise Sterling Silver Bolo Tie is a impressive combination of Turquoise and Silver. Large, hand cut cabochons of genuine Kingman Turquoise give this bolo tie a strong and mystical look. The Turquoise cabs are set on a bolo that was hand cut from a shimmering sheet of Sterling Silver. Hand made Sterling Silver beads and a hand twisted Sterling Silver wire give this bolo tie the perfect amount of detail. The contrast between the polished Turquoise and the white shine of Sterling is truly stunning. This Native American Indian bolo tie is 1-5/8" wide by 2-1/4" long, and it comes with a 45" long 4-ply leather cord with Sterling Silver tips. Stamped Sterling and signed by the Native American artist Joey with our hallmark. Made in our shop. You will be receiving one of the items in the pictures below.

TURQUOISE: The Lucky Stone

When workmen opened the tomb of Queen Zen of Egypt, who died 7000 years ago, they discovered, among other things, four beautiful gold and turquoise bracelets encircling the arm of the mummy. These are the oldest pieces of jewelry ever discovered. The ancient Egyptians were captivated by Turquoise and sent large expeditions of up to 3000 workers under military escort into the Sinai Peninsula for the sole purpose of mining Turquoise and other minerals. Over the centuries, the use of Turquoise spread over the world to many lands. From Persia, it spread over the hills to Turkey and from there to the countries of Europe. Early French and Italian traders who carried the stones out of Turkey gave its modern name Pierre Turquoise "Turkish Stone".

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize that it is important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
