This is a beautiful example of Navajo Indian silver work. This Native American Indian made Sterling Silver squash blossom holds gorgeous hand cut cabs of genuine Gaspeite. Each cab of this gorgeous Gaspeite is surrounded by some very impressive Silver work. The hand cut Sterling Silver sheets have been hand stamped with traditional southwestern designs, and hand twisted Sterling Silver wires give this one extra ornamentation. The Sterling Silver bench beads give off their irresistible high shine. This squash blossom is 23-1/2" long. The naja is 2" long hanging at the center. The matching post earrings are 1-1/4" long. Gaspeite- It is Nickel Magnesium Iron Carbonate and it is in the Calcite group and is found near deposits of Nickel Sulfide. The brilliant green color has given it great value as a gemstone. Gaspeite is a rare mineral found in significant amounts only in Canada and Australia. It gets the name Gaspeite from the Gaspe' Peninsula in Quebec, Canada.
