These beautiful pieces of jewelry feature rich and elegant cabochons of genuine Howlite. Each cab of this Howlite has been hand cut and set in the brilliance of Sterling Silver. The necklace has a box link chain for complete flexibility. The necklace has a total length of 22". The bracelet is 1-1/2" wide, it'll fit a 6" to a 7" wrist. The post earrings are 1" long. Named after the discoverer Henry How, a geologist from Nova Scotia. Howlite is found in Canada (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick), and the United States (California). California is the source for almost all of the howlite trade where nodules of up to one hundred pounds have been found. White, and normally found in an opaque massive form, although there are extremely rare crystals of howlite. White howlite is not enhanced. Howlite can be dyed to imitate other stones such as turquoise, lapis lazuli and others.
