Native American Amber Sterling Silver Hinged Bangle Bracelet.
Unique and beautiful, this bracelet has it all. The center of this one prominently features an elegantly hand cut, long oval cab of genuine Amber. The oval Amber cab has been set in a hand made Sterling Silver casing that is simply hinged with the slender Sterling Silver cuff. A slight pot hook on the other end of the Sterling Silver cuff allows the Amber to connect with the cuff on both sides for a complete bracelet. The Amber cab is 3/8" wide and 7/8" long. This bracelet we can make it to fit a 5" to an 8" wrist. Let us know what size you want in the 'comment box' as you check out. Amber is a birthstone for the Zodiac sign of Taurus. In ancient times, people believed that amber could increase the powers of magicians and warlocks. Amber is made from a syrup-like resin that dripped out of the pine trees of the Carboniferous and Pleistocene periods. This resin was covered in dirt and sediment, and under heat and pressure it fossilized into amber. At times the tree resin would ooze all over a prehistoric insect or leaf and then fossilize into amber with the specimen inside. Amber pieces with organic prehistoric specimens are especially valuable both monetarily and scientifically. Also, since it's soft and easy to cut, amber has been used as a gemstone, but since it's fragile amber jewelry should be worn with care and caution.
