Native American Turquoise and Pearl Sterling Silver Bead Choker Necklace
This necklace is a beautiful piece of Native American jewelry. This one has been hand-strung with gorgeous beads of reconstituted stabilized Turquoise and genuine pearl. Small, shining Sterling Silver beads artfully provide the spacing between the Turquoise and the Pearl sections, which is five Pearls on each side of a center section of five Turquoise beads. Each end is dressed with a Sterling Silver cone with a hook-eye and comb clasp for an extra high shine. Strung in our shop by Native American artist Berlinda, this choker is 17" long. An extension chain can be included with this item for $5.00 per inch. Let us know how long you'd like your extension chain in the 'comment box' as you check out.
Beads were among the first things Pioneer Smiths made, beating them from old coins. At the turn of the century beads were a symbol of fashion and status, which continues today. How could we ever live without our accessories? It's the little things in life that sometimes give us the most pleasure. Man, from the earliest times, has considered the adornment of his person to be as necessary as food and shelter.
