THIS IS A TRUE WORK OF ART!
What a dazzler! This is an exceptional design from Casas Grandes Valley. The painting on this pot is of superior quality and done entirely by hand with machine like accuracy. An array of meticulously even lines come together to create the mesmerizing pattern. It's amazing how they can sit down and hand paint these pots with such precision without any pre-planning or measuring tools. The smooth stone polished surface conceals the fact that this pot was hand coiled from natural clay without a potter's wheel. This is not a paint by numbers pot! This is top of the line pottery, an addition to your collection to be proud of. It is entirely hand made and signed by the Mata Ortiz Artist Loly Ledezma. It stands 5-1/2" tall, 8-1/4" wide, with a 26" circumference, and a 1-3/4" opening at the top.
