Limited Edition Native American Warrior Wall Mount Kindred Spirit Mask 2500-NC
Limited Edition Native American Warrior Wall Mount Kindred Spirit Mask.
This artifact is a wild and extraordinary display piece! This impressive wall mount comes from Native American artists Super Moon and Black Wolf. It is part of a limited edition, number 157 of 500, and features a hand painted lost wax image of an American Indian Warrior. This stunning Warrior's face features intricate natural textures and life-like detail. His face is painted a ghostly white and glows from within the dark, bison mane headdress. The black flame-like designs over his eyes contrast with the white face creating a menacing presence that would be a terrifying sight during battle. He is dressed with a generous portion of genuine horse hair and bison mane. A genuine deer horn button, buckskin leather, and trade beads give this fine artifact extra character. This wall mount has a rustic hand cut wooden base. The base is 15-1/2" wide by 20-1/2" long and signed by the artists. Including the draping horsehair, this Indian mask is about 28" long.
Native Americans have always felt a special connection to nature. The belief that all things have a spirit is an integral part of their religions. The Zuni believe that animals are more like the Zuni deities than is man. They also believe that animals have more power than man and that these powers, both practical and spiritual, reside in their totems. |
