Large Native American Genuine Turquoise & Coral Sterling Silver Pendant & Beaded Necklace  1519-NK

Large Native American Genuine Turquoise & Coral Sterling Silver Pendant & Beaded Necklace.

This stunning pendant prominently features a variety of cabochons hand cut from genuine Spider Web Turquoise and Coral. This sensational pendant was hand cut out of shimmering Sterling Silver and hand stamped with traditional designs. It provides an attractive frame for this amazing collection of high grade stones. The large center Turquoise stone features a natural spider web matrix and the vivid moss green hues comes alive next to the brilliant reds of the coral. Sterling Silver drops and hand twisted Sterling wire fit between the stones for extra detail. Signed by the Navajo jeweler Ray Bennett and stamped Sterling. Including the large 3/4" bail, this pendant is 3-1/2" long and 2" wide. This piece comes with a 21" three strand necklace hand strung with another bedazzling array of beads made from Turquoise, Coral, Onyx, Lapis, Rose Quartz and more. The necklace is finished on both ends with Sterling Silver bench beads and Sterling hooks and eyes. You will be receiving the one of a kind pendant and beaded necklace pictured below.

Turquoise is a highly sought-after mineral and is possibly the most valuable, non-transparent mineral in the jewelry trade. It has been mined for eons since at least 6000 BC by early Egyptians. Aztecs reserved turquoise for the gods and it was not to be worn by mere mortals. Its history also includes beautiful ornamental creations by Native Americans and Persians. Today, it is more popular than ever and its use around the world is prolific. The finest turquoise comes from Iran but is challenged by some southwestern United States specimens. The name comes from a French word, which means stone of Turkey, from where Persian material passed on its way to Europe.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it's important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
