Ralph Gallapoo has been making bead work for over forty years. He is a mix of Nez Perce, Potawattomi and French Canadian. Ralph has traveled the Pow Wow circuit for over ten years as a trader, participant and competitor. He is a life member of the Starhawk Society and has been a gourd dancer and traditional dancer for 30 years. He is also a veteran with the US Marine Corps. Ralph specializes in Peyote stitch, but is proficient in loom beading, edge beading, lazy stitch, and applique. He makes and beads all the fans, rattles, dance outfits, and accessories used in the Native American Church. Ralph's bead-work has won many awards and ribbons over the years. The last time he saw his teacher Ralph was told "...the student has surpassed the teacher." He has sold his work all over the world and on the internet.
