High Fashion Native American Genuine Moss Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace  0076-NK

Native American Genuine Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

Dress yourself with beauty. This native-made necklace is of a very high quality. This necklace holds a generous portion of genuine Turquoise. Each hand-cut cab of this gorgeous Turquoise has been set in individually hand-made Sterling Silver bezels that were soldered to three hand-cut Sterling Silver sheets. The Sterling Silver sheets were finely cut and hinged together to form a crescent moon shape. Turquoise and Silver can't go wrong. Hand-made 'Navajo Tear Drops,' hand-twisted wire and hand-stamped fine line details adorn this one with extra ornamentation. This necklace has a box link chain for complete adjustability. The total length is 18-1/2". Signed by the Native American artist. Stamped Sterling. You'll receive one from the pictures.

TURQUOISE: The Lucky Stone

When workmen opened the tomb of Queen Zen of Egypt, who died 7000 years ago, they discovered, among other things, four beautiful gold and turquoise bracelets encircling the arm of the mummy. These are the oldest pieces of jewelry ever discovered. The ancient Egyptians were captivated by Turquoise and sent large expeditions of up to 3000 workers under military escort into the Sinai Peninsula for the sole purpose of mining Turquoise and other minerals. Over the centuries, the use of Turquoise spread over the world to many lands. From Persia, it spread over the hills to Turkey and from there to the countries of Europe. Early French and Italian traders who carried the stones out of Turkey gave its modern name Pierre Turquoise, "Turkish Stone".

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art. And, we recognize it's important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item.
