This Genuine Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings Jewelry Set is a beautiful hand-crafted collection of Turquoise Jewelry. The Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings were all finely hand-made out of shimmering Sterling Silver. Each piece in this fine Jewelry collection features hand-cut teardrop-shaped cabochons of genuine Turquoise. This gorgeous Turquoise delivers its natural blue hues to the white shine of the Sterling Silver for a traditional yet fashionable look. Each Turquoise stone is set in Sterling Silver with a hand-twisted wire around each stone and hand-etchings around the edge. The 1" wide cuff of the 6" to 7" bracelet has three set stones on two bands that are on either side of a twisted wire. It also has extra decorations of Sterling Silver balls. The 20" necklace has a length made of Sterling Silver bench beads that end with Silver cones, and spaced along the necklace are Turquoise stones set in Sterling Silver with another stone that hangs from the center stone. It has a silver box link chain for extra length with a hook-eye and comb clasp on each end. The French hook earrings feature a beautiful stone and are approximately 1" long. The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.
