Genuine Battle Mountain Spiderweb Turquoise Cabochon Traditional Wide Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Signed by Lucky  1470-252046-BR

Genuine Battle Mountain Spiderweb Turquoise Cabochon Traditional Wide Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Signed by Lucky.

This traditional cuff Bracelet is a sensational piece of hand-made Turquoise jewelry. The center of this bracelet has been dressed with a large oval cabochon of genuine Battle Mountain Spiderweb Turquoise. This Turquoise appears on a double-strand cuff of shining Sterling Silver. Hand-made dots and decorated Sterling Silver fans with a traditional pattern give this one extra detail. The Turquoise is just full of natural character with its blue green hues and dazzling matrix. It is 2-1/4" wide and will fit a 7" to 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling and signed by Lucky. Turquoise cabochons will vary slightly. You'll get one from the group pictured below.

Since about 200 B.C., Turquoise has been extensively used by southwestern U.S. Native Americans and by many of the Indian tribes in Mexico. The Native American Jewelry or "Indian style" jewelry with Turquoise mounted in or with silver is relatively new. Some believe this style of jewelry was unknown prior to approximately 1880, when a white trader persuaded a Navajo craftsman to make Turquoise and silver jewelry using coin silver. Prior to this time, the Native Americans had made solid turquoise beads, carvings, and inlaid mosaics. Recently, Turquoise has found wide acceptance among people of all walks of life and from many different ethnic groups.
