This elegant design of silver features a gorgeous display of hand cut cabochons of genuine Gaspeite. What a necklace! Hand twisted Sterling Silver wires and individually hand made Sterling Silver dots give this necklace a nice high shine. This one has a box link chain for complete flexibility. Non Indian made. The total length of this necklace is 22-1/2". The matching French hook earrings are 1-3/4" long. Stamped Sterling.
Gaspeite- It is Nickel Magnesium Iron Carbonate and it is in the Calcite group and is found near deposits of Nickel Sulfide. The brilliant green color has given it great value as a gemstone. Gaspeite is a rare mineral found in significant amounts only in Canada and Australia. It gets the name Gaspeite from the Gaspe� Peninsula in Quebec, Canada. |
