Crazy Horse Howlite Sterling Silver Pendant and Earrings.

This pendant is a beautiful piece of hand crafted jewelry. This one was artfully made out of shimmering Sterling Silver for an attractive high shine.This pendant showcases a gorgeous hand cut stones of genuine Howlite. The fine line design in the Sterling Silver gives it just the right amount of detail. Non Indian made. Suspended from a complimentary chain, this pendant is 2-3/8" long. The matching French hook earrings are 1-3/4" long. Stamped Sterling. The matrix in the Howlite may slightly vary. Named after the discoverer Henry How, a geologist from Nova Scotia. Howlite is found in Canada (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick), and the United States (California). California is the source for almost all of the howlite trade where nodules of up to one hundred pounds have been found. White, and normally found in an opaque massive form, although there are extremely rare crystals of howlite. White howlite is not enhanced. Howlite can be dyed to imitate other stones such as turquoise, lapis lazuli and others.
