This crystal ball is a great way to add some decor to your home or office. This one would look great for a Halloween party or even for an actual fortune teller's shop. It would make for an excellent prop for a magic show. It has a circumference of 13-5/8". Including the stand it is 5" tall.
The practice of crystal gazing dates back to the year 2000 B.C. in Greece. Since then many people have believed that gazing into the crystal ball allowed the ball to act as a medium giving one visions of the future or the spirit world. Often the fortune teller would go into a self-induced trance using the ball as a focus point to conjure up images that one cannot normally achieve in the physical world. This act is often referred to as scrying. |
