Wearing "bling-bling" jewelry is more than just a fashion statement, however. The fun term represents not just an article of clothing, jewelry, or vehicle. "Bling-bling" represents a lifestyle, a way of living, and a very large philosophy.
Current sociological scholars and philosophy masters tend to agree on the mindset one must maintain to truly be a master of bling-bling lifestyle. These individuals live their lives in a glamorous and large way. No risk is too great, no temptation is to be dismissed. Those individuals who embrace the sociological ideals of bling-bling do so knowing that they will often be the targets of envy... and they enjoy it.
To truly be bling-bling, not just wear it, one must accept that you are actively striving to make your presence known. Bling-bling is not subtle, timid, or laconic. Bling-bling is loud, occassionally frivilous, and always recognized and seen. Bling-bling is ordering the nice wine with dinner, purchasing the best car because you want to, and wearing a real fur coat because it's warm - to not care what others think about you or how you life your life, to merely live it to the fullest.
Bling-bling is a lifestyle where one is excessive because it is enjoyable and subtle, low-key, and relaxed when you feel the situation calls for it. Bling-bling is flashy and fun. Bling-bling gets noticed.
Only the brave can truly pull off a "bling-bling" look. Only the stalwart can choose the largest, most gorgeous piece of jewelry on the rack and wear it with style and flair. Bling-bling isn't about being wealthy.
Bling-bling is about having fun because life is short. Bling-bling is about being brave because "sticks and stones may break the bones" but words will never hurt you. And most of all... bling-bling is about being totally, one-hundred percent YOU.
If you like it, wear it.
THAT is bling-bling.
