This is a magnificent creation of heavy-gauge Sterling Silver with genuine Turquoise nuggets and red Coral for a traditional combination of the Southwest. The Coral provides the centerpieces of Sterling Silver flowers. Hand-cut Sterling Silver leaves and coiled wires are carefully placed on this wearable art. The Coral-centered flowers bracket a large oval cabochon of Turquoise in the center of the bracelet. The bracelet is 2" wide and will fit a 7" to 8" wrist. TURQUOISE: The Lucky Stone
When workmen opened the tomb of Queen Zen of Egypt, who died 7000 years ago, they discovered, among other things, four beautiful gold and turquoise bracelets encircling the arm of the mummy. Early French and Italian traders who carried the stones out of Turkey gave its modern name Pierre Turquoise, "Turkish Stone".
