Amanda has been making artifacts like this for eight years. She currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She learned the craft from her great-great grandmother. Native American arts are traditionally taught and passed on down through the family generation to generation. The wheel of this dreamcatcher has been wrapped in soft genuine buckskin leather. The web of this one has been perfectly hand woven in the traditional design from artificial sinew. It features colorful trade beads. Genuine feathers have been included to act as symbols of prayer. This dreamcatcher has a diameter of 4". Due to the hand made nature of this dreamcatcher some slight variations may occur. Originally the Dream Catcher was hung by the window or at the head of your bed. The bad dreams get caught in the web.
